  8. Honestly, I really don't think that eating the slime with the burgers would matter because people do the same thing with chicken nuggets and hot dogs and they people eat that all the time. Also, no one has had a problem with eating it before the media had said they put that stuff in there.

    1. Does it bother you to know that your food is being sprayed with Ammonia...a common household cleaner? I am not arguing with you, just want to play devil's advocate here.... And, does this mean you trust the government since they say it's safe???

    2. thats because they didn't know what they were eating until the media said something about it.

  9. I think the pink slime is realy gross and shouldnt be used in meats. i know its cheap and makes the meat look fresh but McDonalds wont even put it in their meat but the schools will. That says alot about schools "nutrition" groups. So i dont like the pink slime. Do i get my bonus points now?

  10. Pink slime should not be used. There were complaints about the levels of ammonium hydroxide. With too much, the meat would taste and smell horrible. With too less, diseases like E. coli and salmonella can infect us. To avoid any confusion with taste or health, I wouldn't eat any beef. This way, I won't have to taste a bad tasting beef or be infected by disease. The author's point of view is that pink slime isn't worse than pink cylinders, such as hot dogs, yellow nuggets, and a variety of other unhealthy meat products. I actually agree to this because it is said that hot dogs contains sodium nitrite, which causes a high risk of lung cancer and heart disease. This could be just as worse as eating meat that may have E. coli, salmonella, and other diseases associated with it.
